i love coming home, but this place keeps reminding me of him. how bittersweet. i had one of those nights again where i just laid there and thought. it's been three months, yet i still get these moments of heartaches now and then. being in LA helped a lot because every little thing didnt remind me of him. well except for the tennis courts. since we broke up a week before i left, i didnt have a lot of alone time with my thoughts. my friends made sure i was distracted then school started and that kept me pretty busy. now that things have slowed down a bit, i keep finding myself thinking about him. yes it's stupid because i'm pretty sure he's long over me by now. seeing him at the tennis banquet tonight didnt hurt as much as i thought it would. so that should be a good sign. i'm not sure how "getting over someone" is supposed to work. all i can do is try to forget. this feeling cant last that much longer, can it ?
